Mortals and Immortals

7 Blessings of Life – 7 Steps

Conception

We are mindful of those that together created us as individual beings. We pray for them. We thank and bless them for this new beginning. We acknowledge their gift to us. We bless ourselves as the child in the womb developing a mortal life.

Birth

We celebrate our birth. We are called out of darkness into the light. We enter the mysteries of earthly existence whilst aware of the joys of eternal life. We thank and bless all those present at our birth. We claim our name of this incarnation.

Physical maturity

We bless all those that loved and nurtured us in order that we grew into physically mature beings. The earth and all who supplied our food, every cell acknowledges your generous presence. We exist in the well being of a mature physical body.

 Emotional maturity

We remember that innocence and laughter keep the world young as emotionally mature beings. We believe in love, we see beauty. We are tolerant, accepting, understanding, supportive, in balance in all our relationships.

Mental maturity

We develop in grace and knowledge as mentally mature beings. We acknowledge our unique potentials and skills. We ask that we may always use our logical, analytical, decision making capacities for the highest good of others and ourselves.

Spiritual maturity

We express our inner beauty in compassion and calm as spiritually mature beings. We bless the messengers, angels, god and goddess, way showers, guides, guardians, all those that stand at the doorways and lighten our path as we discover the peace within our soul.

Death

We are thankful for our lives and time on earth. Eternal blessings we bestow on all that have shared our lives. Seeds we planted have born fruit. When the shadows fall and darkness draws near we rest in gladness.
